Second Virtual Conference in Genomics and Bioinformatics 
September 24-26, 2002 
We are looking for remote Access Grid nodes which would be willing to
host local audiences and, possibly, presenters during the conference.
If you are interested please contact NDSU at

NDSU.Access.Grid at NDSU.NODAK.EDU by June 30, 2002, and include the
initial information listed below.   We plan to finalize the remote sites
based on location, capacity, etc., in July, 2002.  Further changes in
remote site participation may be made based on actual registrations or
other factors. 
Our goal this year is to have a central registration system which allows
participants to select the node at which they wish to attend with that
information available to each site.  This means we must have the remote
sites confirmed during July.  Sites which have sent requests may easily
"drop out" anytime before July.  Just let us know.  More details will be
sent to sites who have requested participation. 
Your e-mail addresses will be added to our technical contacts e-mail
list when we receive them.  Remote nodes will be expected to participate
in one or more test cruises in the weeks prior to the conference.  Right
now we anticipate the final "megacruise" will be on Monday, September
23, 2002, probably in the Fargo afternoon (e.g. Noon-5 p.m. CDT,
1700-2200 UTC).  Besides DPPT or RPPT we will also be working on ways to
share demonstrated software with participant sites (e.g. VNC or via
special vic streams).
