However, if the video is not reacting well with the gentner software 
running, it is apparently not doing it right. (I had the same interaction 
with their tech support awhile ago ..)

Chris - you're running on a uniprocessor system, right? If so, the APserve 
is competing directly with the vic for the processor; on a dual-cpu system 
it probably handles the load better..
