[AG-TECH] VNC stability problems?

Trying to use VNC during an AG session yesterday, I experienced rather
severe stability problems. When I first connected (as a client), it
stayed up for probably 10-15 min. Then is died without any warning or
messages, and from that point, I wasn't able to get it to stay up for
more than about 30 seconds, trying perhaps half a dozen times over the
subsequent three hours. I think ANL might have experienced similar
problems, but no one else on the session was running VNC.

The servers was on a Windows laptop at NCAR, and it didn't seem to
have a problem -- the user saw no evidence of any thing, and I was
able to connect at any time I tried.

We used the VNC client last week for another session, and it was fine
for at least an hour. The server was a unix box at LBL.

Has anyone experienced this? Its a little hard to debug when there is
no indication of any kind what happened.

Thanks
