[AG-TECH] AG Lobby Policies

The lobby was originally conceived as a big place where people come and go,
similar to a lobby in a physical building. All sorts of interactions might
happen here. I would argue that social interactions should not discouraged
in the venues.accessgrid.org lobby, but common sense should rule (as it does
in physical lobbies everywhere.)

It sounds like Jeffrey's node is in the middle of a room in which silence is
required. While having the lobby be "lobby-like" may not work for Jeffrey's
installation, I would resist imposing his constraints on the entire AG.

As an aside, the host of the venues server sets the policy for its own
venues, so other venues servers might have lobbies with different policies.
Hmmm... do we need a way for social policies for a venue to be posted for
visitors to review?

Hey,

filling out the list of spaces we're describing;

Library (hangout doing stuff, but quietly)
Lobby (generally not that busy, but a place for information -- hmmm, like
the meadow)
Bar (place for loud and raucaus interactions, including throwing virtual
pretzels at the bad karaoke singers)

Ok I'm sure I'm missing something, but the current lobby doesn't fit any
of these :-)

So, what's the real plan, leave the lobby the way it is, make it one of
the above and create the other 2 spaces, or just do stuff and let it work
itself out?

I tend to vote for #3, being informal by nature. Talk, yell, throw
virtual pretzels in the lobby, but if someone leaves or says, "shhhhh",
don't get offended :-)
