[AG-TECH] Sound localisation work?

That was a really cool demo. I remember seeing it at
the 2002 ag retreat. Are you sure it's too buggy to use?

To compenstae: at ACCESS we have been using active operations 
to accentuate speakers. We have found that most of our
accessgrid meetings fall roughly into two categories.
The first, demonstration or seminar like presentations,
where one speaker talks most of the time - During
questions we then enlarge those remote sites which have a 
question. This can also be coordinated with the other
sites by moo. The second, is informal working meetings where
there are usually one or two other remotes sites. 
In these sistuations all the participants generally know 
each other and can find their videos pretty easily if they 
are all enlarged. Also, good video composition helps identify these 
speakers aswell. Using headsup operations we make a strong effort to 
zoomin on speakers when they have questions or are talking at length.
