Don,

You got it exactly right. If your multicast goes down, you'll need a good
neighbour to run QuickBridge for you. (But all those deer you keep showing
in the lobby must have won you some friends...)

The point is that we no longer need rely on Argonne's server. And that
server no longer needs to be overloaded.

Think of it as a decentralisation initiative...

By the way, it's called 'QuickBridge' (trade mark due to me, for what it's
worth...) because you can download, install and use it very quickly and
easily - even during an event, if you need to.
