Cool. We've got a midiman delta 44 that we've played with some, but not as 
much as we'd like :-).

I ported rat to the 0.5 version of the ALSA drivers (auddev_alsa in the rat 
distribution). I like the ALSA drivers much better than OSS, and only 
partly because they're free. They are going to be the audio drivers in the 
2.6 linux kernel chain (they are there now in 2.5). Updating that port to 
the 0.9 version would be a good thing.

For the professional multichannel cards, I suspect we will be happier with 
ALSA.
