Great to hear it - that'll be very useful. The remote desktop approach 
(also achievable with vnc) does little to unify the UI of all the various 
bits and pieces (to suit the apps suite of the hour :-) ), even if they are 
all running on the one system. I suspect it also does not readily allow 
multiple operators to manage different aspects of the one node. Plus 
there's the resourcing issue (running to Bob's wireless laptop or PDA :-) ).
