[AG-TECH] Problem Troubleshooting Audio

Greetings,

I've been having some difficulty troubleshooting an audio problem with our
node and would appreciate any suggestions or insights.
Our node has been working perfectly up until about a week ago when a buzz
started eminating from the speakers. The problem has escalated to popping
and hissing when any noises are made in the room. The physical connections
appear to be intact and we believe we have traced the cause to our Digital
Match Maker. Is this a required piece of equipment? We suspect that it may
be inducing noise.

Also, when rebooting the Linux audio machine I get an error message stating
that OSS cannot be loaded because a sound module has already been loaded
into the kernel (es1371.o, Ensonique Sound). Oddly enough, no software or
hardware configurations have been changed since the original working setup.
Is this something I should be concerned about?

I didn't perform the original installation and configuration so I'm kinda
working in the dark.

Thanks in advance,
