Was that missing from your machine before you copied it? I'm wondering if 
there's an architeture-speicfic bit with that.

Hm. Did you have the color depth set to the same thing on all the heads? 
That's one reason for black video on vic.

I'm going to try to find an NT box to build the eventserv stuff on; it'll 
be sometime next week tho.
