[AG-TECH] Changes on the Venues mud

In an effort toward having a little more information available about people
using the mud, and to curb possible abuses, we are no longer allowing
self-creation of characters on the venues mud as we have in the past.

Users can still request the creation of a character. To do so, they must
log in as a guest, then use the @request command to request a character be
created. At the end of this message is a sample use of this process. The
user's text is in italics.

We would also like all users to register an email address with the
characters they use on the venues mud. To do this, use the @register command:

@register me as myname at my.email.address

This is a fairly picky command, and will reset your password. If you have
any problems with this, drop a note to ag-mud at mcs.anl.gov with your player
name and we'll do the registration for you.

FYI, this is also part of an effort to move the everyday interactions from
WFG to the Venues mud, since the userbase for the mud may be growing much
larger. We plan to introduce some more space in the Venues mud for
non-event interaction.

thanks,
--bob
