Another email on the topic, with a bit more info. Human parsing error can
be blamed. Sorry for all the spam on this topic! I think we're all set
now (and I may have set a record for number of emails to ag-tech related
to a non-Clinton demo).

Subject: Clarification

Jennifer,

Chuck pointed out that, because of the unconventional (and syntactically
incorrect) way in which Elizabeth expressed people and titles in her email
(coupled with my usual haste and carelessness), I parsed the titles
improperly, hence my confusion about Sue Walsh. Leo Donnelly is Senior
Technical Consultant for Harvard's campus network (Harvard is the NoX-AP
NOC and he serves as the technical point of contact), and I take it that
Dan is CIO and Sue is now Executive Director of IT. To further complicate
this, I read "number" as "member," thinking she characterized Sue as 'a
member of [the] faculty...'

Well, enough of this confusing "clarification." I'm sure you figured all
this out independently. Onward! -m

Hi Jennifer,

Elizabeth neglected to cc you on her response, so I've enclosed it below.
I've met Dan (http://www.provost.harvard.edu/bios/) and Sue. Despite
Elizabeth's characterization, my understanding is that Sue oversees (or
oversaw) UIS from the Provost's Office. This time last year, her title was
"Assistant Provost for Technology," but Dan's a more recent addition, so
perhaps that's changed.

The attendees will include Leo, the CIO of Harvard, Dan Moriarty, Executive
Director of IT, Sue Walsh, a number of faculty with interest in IT and some
senior IT administrators. Everyone will know what Internet 2 is.

It would be great if you could give an explanation of the project,
demonstrate feeds from the various locations, talk about the technology
behind this, show the projectors and control screen, discuss challenges and
problems and talk about how it has been used. I would imagine it would
take 30 - 45 minutes.

I am on my way out the door for vacation and apologize for responding to
you at the last minute. If you have further questions, I suggest you touch
base with Leo.

THANK YOU.
