For what it's worth my two cents are...

sure alot of stuff will work, but stick with the high end and you'll be 
happier in the long run, and have richer performance. The Genelecs are a 
good value and easy to implement. Remember the goals of the AG are to 
enliven the collaborative user experience with transparent tech.
