Projector specifications....

Excellent, just up my alley.  Most of these devices have serial, so we don't
necessarily have to use IR, although it's definitely the interface of choice
for remotes :-).

Whenever you get to this, this would be an excellent part of the
infrastructure to push on, it brings together alot of loose niggling details
into a single place that makes life easier to manage...
