Actually, I now think its because the popup window doesn't have any 
decoration. Any of the widgets that pop up from a video streams "Info" 
menu have the same problem i.e. no decoration, therefore nothing to 
grab & drag them with.

The UCL version brings these widgets (Settings & Info's) with 
decoration, so looks like this is an openmash thing, rather than a Mac 
thing.
