[petsc-users] TS support for second order systems

Hi, 

   Is there explicit support for second-order systems arising from structural dynamics in the TS library? 

   It can certainly be written as an equivalent first-order system, but some structural dynamics simulations prefer to tune the two-parameter Newmark solvers to provide extra damping for high-frequency modes. 

   Something equivalent might be possible for equivalent first-order representation, but I wanted to check if there is any support along those lines.
