[petsc-users] PETSc on 64 bit machine

Hello,

Trying to configure PETSc on 64 bit Ubuntu with:

./config/configure.py --with-cc=gcc --with-cxx=g++ --with-fc=0 --with-mpi=0 --with-64-bit-pointers=1 --with-64-bit-indices=1

getting

Failed to find 8-bit clean memcmp(). Cannot proceed.

Did anyone meet with this issue?
