hypre

Hi, I'm trying to build petsc (the 2.3.3p15 version because needing to
use libmesh), with hypre lib enabled, but when doing this,
the shared libraries are not built, and I get:

Completed building libraries
=========================================
Shared libraries disabled

while this doesn't happens when hypre support is not build. Are hypre
and shared libs mutually exclusive?
