The problem seems to be solved when I am using intel compilers, i.e., setting icc and ifort in maketools.

I am trying to compile new Nek5000 on SuperMUC but getting an error when compiling makenek. A few initial lines of the error are:




gfortran: unrecognized option '-cpp'
Warning: genmap.f:57: Illegal preprocessor directive
Warning: genmap.f:190: Illegal preprocessor directive
Warning: genmap.f:356: Illegal preprocessor directive
Warning: genmap.f:1349: Illegal preprocessor directive
Warning: genmap.f:1491: Illegal preprocessor directive
Warning: genmap.f:1648: Illegal preprocessor directive
Warning: genmap.f:1949: Illegal preprocessor directive
Warning: genmap.f:3064: Illegal preprocessor directive
Warning: genmap.f:3101: Illegal preprocessor directive
Warning: genmap.f:3158: Illegal preprocessor directive
Warning: genmap.f:3921: Illegal preprocessor directive

I am attaching the detailed error output with this mail. Could you please suggest a solution to this problem?


I want to use both the svn and new version of the code.
