Alex,

Related question to Mani's.  If one wanted to generate a box file
explicitly giving the coordinates (as you suggested below), how should
we span multiple lines in the .box file.  If we needed 100 elements in
the wall normal direction, for example, that wouldn't fit on a single
line.  I remember once trying to span multiple lines and genbox
failed.
