[Nek5000-users] Nek on Ranger (TACC)

Hi,

When I try to run nek on Ranger, I always get the following error. I tried
submitting 4way / 8 way / 16 way, but the error remains the same.  This has
been quite independent of the repo in the recent past (~ 1 month).

ERROR (proc 4):
/share/home/01420/user/nek5_svn/trunk/nek/jl/../jl2/sort_imp.h(475):
allocation of 1337120 bytes failed

ERROR (proc 20):
/share/home/01420/user/nek5_svn/trunk/nek/jl/../jl2/sort_imp.h(475):
allocation of 1337120 bytes failed

....
......

I contacted the HPC support at TACC and they suggested increasing memory per
core, but that didn't help. Has anybody had this before ?
