Hi Frank,

You're exactly right about this.  The problem isn't with VisIt, but
with its Nek reader.  We used to have it implemented so it could
detect this case, but it was slow.  Since we observed that much Nek
usage doesn't have a moving mesh, we disabled it.  It sounds like the
Nek community is changing its usage of the code.  I'll try to get this
straightened out in VisIt.
