Moe played a tough team last night--Nice Game, 7 Bucks--but Team Moe
was up to the challenge!

Tami started us off against Gaylen in a 2:3. Gaylen took a commanding
lead early, winning the first 2 games to get to the hill, but Tami
rallied back, winning the next 2 games and the match, 2:2.

Craig played next against Bob in a 1:9. Craig masterfully took down
Bob in the 1st game, as he reported, using strategy, shots and
safeties, a 1:0 match win!

Katie then played a 1:5 against Shane. Using a similar approach, Katie
safetied Shane on his 8-ball shot in the opening game, causing him to
scratch, and netting a win for Katie, another 1:0!

Next up as Paul H against Dave in a 2:4. Both were shooting well,
with Dave having a slightly better go at it in the first 2 games,
which he won. The shots went in Paul's favor in the 3rd game, getting
Paul to the hill, and it looked like he would take the 4th game, until
he and Dave started doing the safety dance. Unfortunately, Dave
successfully stymied Paul to take that game, and while Paul had an
opportunity to take the final game, Dave won that one too to take the
match, 1:4.

The final game featured Paul L against Frankie in a 2:8. Paul was
making good shots, which made Frankie nervous and helped to keep him
from speeding through the games. Nonetheless, Frankie took the first
3 games and held Paul at bay by keeping his balls tied up in the 4th
game, until Paul managed to break his last ball free on the
follow-thru when sinking his 2nd-from-last ball to win that game.
Frankie won the next game, and the next, and the next 2 after that,
building his confidence again to get to the final hill-hill game.
Paul continued to put on the pressure though, and just when Frankie
thought he might have Paul blocked, Paul made his shot and ran out to
take the game and match, 2:7.

That made it 4 wins on the night; great job everyone!
