We played X-Cue-Ses tonight.

Katie started us off against George in a 1:4.  George is very good and
took the first 3 games, but Katie was shooting well and in the final
game gat to the 8.  She missed, but that surely made George nervous,
nervous enough that when he shot on the 8, he scratched, giving the
match to Katie, 1:3.  A good start!

Craig played next against Tim in a 1:5.  Tim is even better than
George, and despite a good effort from Craig, Craig went down, 0:5.

Tami played the third match against Brian, a 2:3.  Tami was making
good shots but wasn't able to pull out a win 'til the 3rd game.  She
then carried the momentum from that game into the hill-hill game where
she made a couple of nice runs to win that game and the match, 2:2.

Paul H sacrificed himself in the fourth match, a 1:7, against Pat.  Pat
is really good and didn't give Paul very many opportunities.  When he
did, Paul made his shots, but Pat didn't leave him with enough open
shots where Paul could take a game. Ultimately he went down, 0:7.

Paul L closed the night against Jeff in a 3:2.  Paul was shooting very
well, stringing shots together for good runs, including one to come
back from being many balls down in the 3rd game.  He took that game,
which added to his wins in games 1 & 2, resulting in a shutout against
Jeff, 3:0.

3 wins tonight; pretty good!  That will tie us in the standings with
X-Cue-Ses, perhaps for 4th or 5th.
