Last week we played X-Cue-Ses.

Martino played the first match against Jason, a 2:3. Martino won the first game, but Jason won the next 3 to beat Martino 1:3.

New Moe player Paul Lucido played next against Bobby in a 2:4 for his first match in the Argonne Pool League. Paul tested at a 50 handicap and was shooting well. He won the first game, but like in the previous match, Bobby came back to win the next 4. Paul went down 1:4.

I played next against former grammar school classmate Tim, in a 3:3. We were closely matched, but I managed to come out ahead in each game, shutting out Tim 3:0 to win the match.

Roger played the 4th match, a 2:2 against Huajun. Reversing the trend from the first two matches, Roger lost the first game but came back to win the next two and the match, 2:1.

Paul H played the final match against John, a 3:5. Paul won the first game, but John took the next three. They then traded wins to go to the final, hill-hill game, where both got to the 8. Fortunately, Paul sank it first for the win and match, 3:4.

So we won 3 matches and lost 2; a good result against a tough team. Tomorrow we play Nice Rack.
