Way to Go Roger - wish I could have seen you sink the 8.

We expected more of the same in the second game, but Roger cut the game short; super short by sinking the 8 on the break! Woo! A definitive match win for Roger, 2:0.

Dave was shooting well though, and my aim started wavering, resulting in Dave taking the next 3 games to get to the hill. He was set to take the match in the next game, but luckily for me, his aim started wavering too, letting me get back in the game for a win to take the match to the final game. By then, the momentum had shifted my way, and with the help of some missed shots that turned into lucky defensive leaves, I managed to get to the 8 first and sink it for the comeback match win, 3:4.

Unfortunately for Az though, Frank picked up the pace in the third and never looked back; he took the remaining 5 games and the match, 1:6.

So we had three matches going on in parallel ('cause that's what we do, things in parallel...). Riding the high from his last win, Roger got out to a good start and won the first game. Unfortunately, that was the only one he would get, as Charlie put the pressure on and won the next 5, taking Roger down 1:5.
