Hello John and team,

I will not be participating in the pool league this 2nd session. It was fun while it lasted and wish you and the team good luck this time around.

Kindest regards,

Subject: [POOL] Pool Final Results and New Session

Moe,

Officially, as expected, we finished in 4th place for the Fall
session, only 2 wins out of a 3-way tie for 1st, which was shared
between Dean's, Bob Daun's and Melanie's teams. Great job all! For
our efforts, we won $250 which we can use for our fees and dues for
the Winter session; that should last us roughly 5 weeks.

If you couldn't tell by looking out the window, Winter starts now. :)
Tonight is the first night of the Winter session. If you played last
session but won't be able to play this session, please let me know
ASAP.

A new handicap table has been proposed for this session. The limits
of each bracket were reduced by roughly 10 (eg, what was the 50-79
bracket is now 40-69), and a new bracket for when the highest
handicapped player's handicap is < 10 has been added. The intent is
to slightly improve the matchups for lower handicap players and make
matches between really low handicap players go faster (eg, rather than
having a 3:2 matchup it'd be a 2:1 matchup). See the attached
tables. The proposed changes look OK to me, but if you have any
objections, please let me know.

Hope to see you all at Q!

John
