We played X-cue-ses (Ron's team). I missed the first two matches, so John and Tami will need to provide details.

John played Gaylen in a 2:2 and won 2-1.
Tami played Jason and lost 2-1.

Both matches finished by 7:33. I arrived at 7:35 and jumped immediately into a 2:4 against Bobby. Bobby gave me a few openings, and I occasionally got to the 8 before him or had a runnable end game, but my aim on long cut shots was just a little bit off (I blame dirty glasses) and I failed to capitalize on any of these opportunities and went down 4-0. We finished at about 8:30.

Sarah and Az faced off in a 2:3 match. Both were late in arriving, but Az was later. Sarah got in two warm up games before Az arrived. Although Az took a few warm up shots before starting the match, he was still relatively cold. The first game was tight, with only a few balls left on the table and the 8 nestled up against one of Sarah's balls when Az's cue ball took a crazy carom and knocked the 8 cleanly into the corner pocket. I don't think he could repeat the shot if he were actually shooting on the 8. Sarah won the game. The second game started out close, but then Az started to warm up and took that game and the next two to win the match 3-1.

We started the night in a three way tie for last place, but also only 2 games out of second place. Our 2-2 finish on the night probably didn't move us up very far in the standings. Bass Ackwards looks to have a lock on first place, entering the night with a 4 game lead and finishing 3-1 on the night.

I forgot to check who we play next week. The APL wiki probably says.
