I ended-up playing Les in a 1:7. Les won the lag and the first game. The
second game I rocked, running 5 balls in a row. I then had a tough time on the
last two balls. By then, Les and I were both shooting on the eight. Les had
been a bit frustrated, he was missing shots he'd normally make. We both missed
shots on the eight. Then Les missed a shot, parallel to the side rail, the
eight rattles the corner pocket and hangs. My mouth opens. He was so mad, he
knocked the eight in the pocket with his hand. My jaw hits the floor.
Technically, I won by "submission". :-)

Earlier in the night, I played Ken ?? in a 2:2 match as a make-up from last
week. The first game, I was a bit sloppy, but won. The second game, I
dominated and won. After our match, I showed him the shooting exercise Les
taught me.

Rich played Stephan in 1:4. Rich tried his best, but went down swinging 0:4.
Afterwards, Les (being the nice guy he is) gave a little group tutorial to us
and helped Rich with his mechanics and showed him some shooting exercises to
sharpen his game.
