Give up a free beer?  I don't know about that.  For me, it would depend
on whether the discount was enough to still save me money after buying
an extra beer.  I don't think the free LaBatt's is all that bad.

I think we have other options if this falls through.  I suspect that if
we talk with the owner, we can work out a flat rate or a charge per
person.  We could also offer to give up our free drink ticket in
exchange for a discount.  That would benefit them twice since they
wouldn't be giving us free drinks and we would be purchasing more
expensive drinks in their place.
