The Workshop on Cloud Computing (WCC 2023) is an international forum for both researchers and industry practitioners to exchange fundamental advances in the state of art and practice of cloud computing, identify emerging research topics and define the future of cloud computing. The workshop will be held in conjunction with the IEEE 35th International Symposium on Computer Architecture and High Performance Computing (SBAC-PAD 2023) from October 17th to 20th, 2023, in Porto Alegre - RS, Brazil.


We invite authors to submit papers with original research, practical application papers, Ph.D. and Master Thesis ongoing work.

- Modeling and performance evaluation
- Networking technologies network virtualization, software-defined networking

- Resilience, fault-tolerance, disaster recovery
- Resource provisioning, monitoring, management and maintenance
- Scalability, performance, and Cloud elasticity

- Paper deadline: August 25th, 2023
- Author notification: September 15th, 2023
- Camera-ready submission: September 29th, 2023
- Workshop Date: October 17th to 20th

Paper Submission guidelines

The workshop will receive submissions of research papers and will carry out a single-blind peer review process to select high-quality papers to be presented in the workshop. Paper submissions must be in English, have from 6 up to 8 pages (including references), and follow the IEEE conference manuscript formatting guidelines for double-column text using a single-spaced 10-point font on 8.5 × 11-inch pages. Templates are available from http://www. ieee.org/conferences/publishing/templates.html. To be published in the conference proceedings and to be eligible for publication at the IEEE Xplore, one of the authors must register at the full rate and present his/her work at the conference.
