==============================================================

#### CARLA 2023 Call for Posters

CARLA is an international conference series started in 2014 aimed at
providing a forum to foster the growth and strength of the High
Performance Computing (HPC) community in Latin America through the
exchange and dissemination of new ideas, techniques, and research in
HPC and its applications areas. CARLA has become the flagship
conference for HPC in the region. We invite the international
community to share its advances on both HPC and HPC&AI (convergence
between HPC and Artificial Intelligence) as those two key areas are
becoming the predominant engine for innovation and development. In
2023, the Latin America High Performance Computing Conference (CARLA
2023) will be in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia from September 18-22,
2023. We expect contributions from faculty members, researchers,
specialists and graduate students around the world.

#### Program

Posters are an effective way to present in-progress research work,
partial or preliminary results, receive valuable feedback from experts
in the field, and even new ideas to be developed. At the CARLA 2023
Conference, we have a space where students and researchers can show
their advances in current research and have the opportunity to present
and discuss them with colleagues and students. During the conference,
poster authors will have special allocated time-slots and public space
to show their work to the conference attendees. The sessions encourage
network and discussion among peers, leading to possible collaborative
efforts to be initiated or nurtured. Research topics for this Call for
Posters are the same as the main conference. A poster submission must
be accompanied by a short abstract with a maximum length of 250 words,
accompanied by the title and the list of authors and their
institutions. Authors should use the abstract to describe, in a
concise way, the scientific problem, their solution, and partial or
final results. We expect that all submitted abstracts will be
peer-reviewed by at least three reviewers. The accepted submissions
will be published online in a special repository at CARLA website. We
are currently studying the possibility to register the posters with
Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs).
