For those interested, we've developed and released a python interface to the ITAPS interfaces. Thanks to Jim for the
effort involved. This so far has been tested only on MOAB's iMesh implementation, but in theory should work with
others' too.

Some caveats:
- I haven't seen pointers to any other publicly-available iGeom or iRel implementations (though RPI is working on some,
I think).

- At this point, a given iRel implementation is only likely to work with iMesh and iGeom implementations from the same
institution, since relation of mesh to geometry depends inherently on how those relations are stored in the underlying
mesh and geometry data.

Comments/questions should be sent to the Fathom email list, at fathom at lists.mcs.anl.gov.

Ok, I've (finally) released PyTAPS 1.0rc1. Pretty much everything works,
I think. There are some breaking changes though. These won't affect most
people, but if anyone has issues, let me know and I'll help you fix
them.

Since my last email, I fixed up the tests so they should work even if
you only install iMesh. I also added a tutorial! If people could take a
quick look over it, that'd be much appreciated. I got pretty sick of all
the documentation-writing, so there may be gaps here and there. Anyway,
check it out: <http://packages.python.org/PyTAPS/tutorial>.
