It looks like the same 'dataflow ordering that isn't fully implemented' 
problem that often comes up - if so, it should be solved by the stuff I'm 
working on at the moment. Mappers can't take anything as a parameter that 
comes from "something complicated" (where thats a deliberatedly vague term 
hiding many details of the insides of the present runtime).
