Well, the error message had the faulty nodes' names, so you could try to 
submit a GRAM job (using globusrun-ws) specifying one of those nodes in 
the extensions part of the RSL, and seeing if the error pops up again.  
Also try moving the falkon install to GPFS, and see if the errors persist.
