I saw Nika had this hacked into her personal copy of the swift source 
code, in etc/log4j.properties:

> log4j.logger.org.globus.cog.abstraction.impl.execution.deef=DEBUG

Who claims ownership of this line? provider-deef? falkon?

I guess provider-deef, in which case I think the provider-deef build 
system can put this in more sensibly without needing to hack the source by 
hand.
