[petsc-users] If DMPLEX can be created from BDF mesh format?

Hello,
Recently I create mesh from MSC Patran and its mesh format is BDF file ( attached with a square structure with Unstructured tetrahedral mesh ). So i ask for the help that if DMPlexCreateFromFile 
can import the BDF file or I should explicitly change the BDF file to the MSH file format.
