[petsc-users] Could use DMDA create dm write to gmsh format file?

Hi everyone!

    Could use DMDA create dm write to gmsh format file? Or vtk?
I tried dm/tutorials/ex1.c 
 ./ex1 -dm_view ascii:ex1.msh
cat ex1.msh 
DM Object: 1 MPI processes
  type: da
Processor [0] M 10 N 8 m 1 n 1 w 2 s 1
X range of indices: 0 10, Y range of indices: 0 8
