Thank you for the quick answer.
- I solve 10 similar problems (i.e. only the numerical values of some entries differ), measure the time of EPSSolve each time and form the average. Then I do the same for a different number of cores and compare the averages.
- I don’t use multithreaded BLAS. [Where/How could I use it exactly?]
- I just tested 8, 16, 32, 64 and 128 cores (solved 10 problems on each number of cores) and in all cases, epssolve takes between 171 and 205 iterations for 100 eigenvalues. On average, I’d say they each number of cores leads to the same number of iterations.
