[petsc-users] Is still GPU feature recommended on master branch only?

as it is stated here (https://www.mcs.anl.gov/petsc/features/gpus.html) 
since a long time:

We recommend working withpetsc master (git branch) 
<https://www.mcs.anl.gov/petsc/developers/index.html>if you wish to work 
witht his feature.

Does this recommendation remains true?
