Use the debugger and find out why its not executing the routine. It could
be that you did not rebuild everything correctly,
or that the option is not being passed correctly, etc. There are so many
variables that we cannot really be helpful yet. Also,
since this is used by almost every PETSc run done, it is very unlikely to
be a bug in the code.
