[petsc-users] template function as argument to MatShellSetOperation

Hi PETSc users, 
I'm trying to set my matrix multiplication with MatShellSetOperation. 
The question is: is it possible to pass a c++ template function as my matrix multiplication to MatShellSetOperation? 
And if yes, how?
