Dear Authors,

I am trying to run PETSc 3.3-p5 on a IBM Blue Gene/Q machine which features PAMI as MPI implementation and the IBM xl compiler. I would like to solve a non-linear system but as soon as the function SNESSolve is called the code crashes and I get the following error message (MooseMBFlow is the executable):

MooseMBFlow: /bgsys/source/srcV1R2M0.14091/comm/sys/buildtools/pami/common/bgq/Memregion.h:58: pami_result_t PAMI::Memregion::createMemregion_impl(size_t*, size_t, void*, uint64_t): Assertion `rc == 0' failed

These lines are the only ones being printed therefore I cannot tell you much more about the error.
I know this is not directly related to PETSc but I wonder if anybody had already experienced such a problem, I did not get any real help from the user support of that machine.
