[petsc-users] Hypre running out of memory.

Hi, 
I have been trying to use hypre to precondition my Linear Elasticity solver and I've been running out of memory . The problem is that the code is not failing gracefully. The server, where I am running the code on just stops responding and one needs to wait till the code crashes.  Can I force the code to crash gracefully when it runs out of memory?
