[petsc-users] valgrind

I am not quite sure what you mean with check the input.

The input is a simple undirected graph. All edgeweights=1, there are no weights on the vertices.
Each processor holds a non-empty part of the graph. There are no dangling nodes.

Is there anything else I should check?

Any ideas why?

ParMetis is not robust to problems with the input (we are upgrading to the recent release
which is supposed to do more checking). I believe it can fail if you have empty partitions.
I would check the input.

I will try to use --download-mpich for valgrind debugging./

Thanks,

Also suggest using --download-mpich - for valgrind debugging. [it gives
you a valgrind clean mpich]
