We are pleased to announce the release of the PETSc 2.3.3 parallel
software libraries for the implicit solution of PDEs and related
problems.
There are a couple of MAJOR interface changes, listed at

please check these changes before compiling your codes. In particular
the calling sequence for VecScatterBegin/End() now takes the scatter
context
as the first argument not the last.
