Help on installation of PETSC+prometheus on Cygwin

Thank you very much for the help. Right now it works on cygwin shell after
removing the three lines.

These external packages are not tested on windows.

You could try removing the following code from 
/home/feap/Library/petsc-2.3.1-p5/externalpackages/ParMetis/parmetis.h
and see if it helps

#ifndef _MSC_VER
#define __cdecl
#endif


However I'll recommend using linux instead [due to all the external
package requirements]
