[petsc-dev] Is there a good reason that BuildSystem's cuda.py requires GNU compilers?

Hm for CXXFLAGS - I think you have to do:

self.pushLanguage('Cxx')
CXXFLAGS = self.getCompilerFlags()
self.popLanguage()

I think you look for oldFlags usage - something like MPI.py has:

    oldFlags = self.compilers.CPPFLAGS
    self.compilers.CPPFLAGS = "flags I'd like to test with"
    <run test>
    self.compilers.CPPFLAGS = oldFlags
