I'm not sure it would be materially different. I think I would make a
clear distinction between resolution-dependent and
resolution-independent parts and might express that in a
resolution-independent class for problem specification. I would support
a hierarchy or labeled basket of approximations rather than relying
solely on Amat and Pmat.
