Its not exactly a diff.
'git log a..b' gives the list of commits in 'b' that don't exist in 'a'
i.e 'git log origin/master..master' will show all changes in 'master'
that are not in 'origin/master' - i.e usually your local changes [that
are not yet pushed]
Other usages:
- Are all maint changes in master?
git log master..maint
- I have a 'my/feature-breanch' off 'master'. What commits did I make?
git log master..my/feature-branch
